PTA Programs
- Reflections
 - Reflections is a National PTA achievement and arts recognition program. The Reflections Program provides
an opportunity for students of all backgrounds to express their creativity through dance, choreography, film
production, literature, photography, visual art, and original music.
The theme for this year is "Together We Can"
Students may make entries in the following categories:
- Literature
- Musical Composition
- Photography
- Visual Arts
- Dance Choreography
- Film Production

- After School Enrichment Program
 - The After School Enrichment program is a wonderful way to expand our children’s learning and give
them a fun after school activity in the process! We’re excited to be able to offer many wonderful programs
to our students to help round out there experience here at River’s Edge. The committee is in need of parent
volunteers to help with short term (“hour-at-a-time”) assignments with photocopying, registration night,
etc. We especially need help on after school enrichment class days to help ensure our children’s safety.
The halls can be quite empty after school and we need parents to be there for our kids. A big, huge
thanks to all those who help this program continue at our school. Please contact
Jill Krais at volunteers@reespta.org if you have questions or are interested in volunteering in this program.
- Family Enrichment Center
 - Come see what is new in the Family Enrichment Center this year. We have some great new exercise
DVDs for kids and families, including ones with dance, yoga and tae-bo. Our Parent Resource Library has
been growing and we now have many helpful and fun books on a variety of topics related to school, family
and friendship. We have other DVDs on social topics that your children will enjoy watching with you. Our
check out is easy and quick. We are located across the hall from the library, beside the Prime room. Stop
by soon!
