After School Programs
We are very excited to offer After School programs here at Rivers Edge. We are offering three programs which are a great mix of science, art and sports. All classes are offered on Tuesday afternoons from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. The 6 week program will start on Feb 28th and run through April 3rd. Please send registration forms along with the payment

Nominating Committee
The Rivers Edge PTA Nominating Committee is seeking nominees for the following positions for the 2012-2013 school year: VP of Volunteers, VP of Programs, Secretary. If you are interested, please contact the nominating committee at secretary@reespta.org.
Dads and Donuts
Dads and Donuts will be on two days this year to accomodate the growing crowds from year’s past. Families with the last names beginning in A-L will attend on February 6 and families with the last names beginning in M-Z will attend on February 7. Click here for the flyer. Hope to see you there!
Silent Auction and Sock Hop
The Sock Hop ticket order form is ready for download. Click here to download the form.Items are being collected for the Silent Auction held this year on Thursday, February 23. If you would like to donate an item for auction, please contact Divya Verma programs@reespta.org or Mimi Moore at silentauction@reespta.org. The Silent Auction is open to all. Tickets will be soon be available for sale for the Sock Hop on Thursday, February 23. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and are limited in number. The event has sold out every year so order your tickets early!

The Eagle Fund
The REES PTA annual direct donation fundraising campaign, “The Eagle Fund”, kicks off on Friday, September 9. We have two goals this year. Our first goal is to raise $15,000 to provide the many programs the PTA offers each year. The second goal is to increase family participation in the campaign to 50%. Donations of $48 or more make you an Eagle Club member, but any donation is greatly appreciated. Click here for the Direct Donation form. For information about corporate matching, please click here. Membership
Every year we hope to meet or surpass 100% PTA Membership (at least one member for each student enrolled). Right now we are at about 98%; we only need a few more members to reach 100% ! If you have not joined this year we would love to have you! We encourage both Moms and Dads (and grandparent too!) to join. Become a member of the PTA today. Memberships are $5 per person.
