Direct Donation Program

After the success and all the positive feedback from the past two years, we will be doing a direct donation campaign as our major fundraiser! What does that mean to you? No selling any merchandise. This is the easiest way for you to support REES and raise funds to support the incredible plans the PTA has for our children and faculty this school year. This year we have 2 big goals that we need your help with. The first goal is to raise $13,000 with this campaign, and the second goal is to increase our participation in the campaign to 55% of our families donating to The Eagle Fund. Last year we had 50% participation and we need to increase that to make sure we are hitting our monetary goal. Click here for the Direct Donation form. Any family who donates $48 or more to The Eagle Fund this year will get a car magnet with a new look! Look for the direct donation form in your students backpacks. Corporate Matching
One of the easiest ways to help REES meet our direct donation goal is through corporate matching programs. There are many companies that match their employees’ non-profit, charitable contributions which means that what you donate could increase by 50 to 200% depending on your company’s matching gift program. The purpose of the employee matching gifts program is to encourage employees to support their local communities by magnifying their gifts to nonprofit organization such as a PTA. Companies have different procedures to obtain the match but most of the time it is a simple as filling out a form via your companies’ website or getting a form from Human Resources. Please note that our Federal Tax ID for Non-profit status is 02-0691762.

Community Fundraising

You can support the Rivers Edge PTA every time you shop. There are a number of ways you can link your purchases back to our PTA. We have outlined the steps for a few of the programs below, but we encourage you to check back to this page regularly for updated options. Programs will be added as the information becomes available. We encourage all our parents to enroll in these programs, as they are among the easiest ways we have to earn money for our school PTA. Please also encourage friends, neighbors and relatives to enroll our school and support our PTA. Food Lion MVP

Food Lion MVP cards can be linked to the Rivers Edge PTA, which will give a percentage of your purchases back to the school. Linking your card does not interfere with any MVP promotions or discounts. Go to www.foodlion.com/IntheCommunity/ShopAndShare/ and then click “Register MVP Cards” and follow the prompts to add Rivers Edge to your card.

Target

Target Visa, Target credit cards and Target Check Cards can also be registered to donate a percentage of your spending to Rivers Edge PTA. If you have any of these Target “Red Cards”, go to redcard.target.com, then click “Manage my Red Card.” Then click either “Designate a School” or “View or Change Schools” under the “Rewards and Benefits” section. Follow the prompts to add Rivers Edge to your Red Card.

Upromise

Upromise is a free service that helps families earn extra money for education. Besides helping you save for your child’s college education, you can link your account to Rivers Edge and support your PTA. There are two ways you can benefit the Rivers Edge PTA through Upromise. After linking your account to Rivers Edge, you can earn bonuses whenever your participate in select Upromise activities. You can also allocate some or your Upromise savings to Rivers Edge. Go to www.upromise.com to join. Once you have joined, click the “Schools Program” link at the top of the home page. From there, click the “Support your school now” button. Once you have added Rivers Edge, you can, if you choose, then allocate part of your Upromise savings to our school.

Kroger and Campbell's e-Labels for Education

Kroger and Campbell's have teamed up to form "Campbell's e-Labels for Education". After you register, every eligible Campbell's product you buy at Kroger is automatically credited to Rivers Edge account for the Label for Education program. Kroger shoppers, you only need to click on the barcode link below, print the page and take the barcode with you the next time you go shopping. Ask the cashier to scan your Kroger card and the barcode, and your purchases will be credited to Rivers Edge. Click Here for the Kroger barcode.

General Mills Box Tops for Education Program

This fund raising program is very similar to the Campbell's program. Simply purchase any General Mills products with the Box Top for Education label on it, turn it into REES PTA, and we will send it in for school funding. It's that simple.
